There are 2 Adopt-a-Chimp options available. These vary in terms of both cost and

However, timeshare owners will automatically acquire all the benefits of the “Gold
Package” for one year. This entitles you to the following:
- Access to research webcam
- Full web access
- Access to daily pictures
- 1 DVD
- Sanctuary uniform T-shirt
- JGI South Africa newsletter
- “Adopt-a-chimp” certificate
- 20% on all products purchased on the website or at the sanctuary.
Volunteer programmes are run at the sanctuary. These programmes include lectures and various tasks in-and-around the enclosures.
The main focus is on chimpanzee behaviour monitoring, but may vary depending on
needs at the time. No chimpanzee handling is permitted due to health and safety
precautions.
